Trinity House Appoints Dunmow Group To Help Navigate Its Sustainability Journey

Trinity House is the General Lighthouse Authority for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. Trinity House is based at Tower Hill, London with depots in Harwich, Essex and Swansea, Wales and a forward operating base in St.Just, Cornwall. Trinity House has appointed Dunmow Group as its integrated waste management contractor for a period of up to six years following a competitive tender process.

Dunmow Group will provide integrated waste management services at Trinity House’s office, quayside, stores and workshop facilities in Harwich. In addition, Dunmow will provide containers for all onboard waste and recycling generated by the Trinity House vessels.

Dunmow’s services extend to the collection, recycling and recovery of general waste, paper and cardboard, waste wood, sand-blasting grit, scrap metal, WEEE waste and all specifications of low-level hazardous waste generated by the Trinity House, Harwich and onboard activities. Dunmow’s services extend to providing collection and exchange services during crew changes for the three THV vessels when docked at Trinty House’s Swansea quayside facility and potentially at other ports around England and Wales.
