The emptying of septic tanks varies depending on size and usage but normally it is 6 monthly to annually, you will be able to gauge the emptying ratio after it has been completed 2-3 times.
The cost of emptying is dependent on the volume of liquid that is collected from the septic tank, if you speak to our Sales team then we will be able find out the best deal for your tank.
If the tank is private to the residence then the homeowner or landlord will be responsible, if the tank is a shared asset then the cost should be divided by the number of properties using i.e. 4 house share septic tank so cost should be divided by 4 (please note this is not something that Dunmow would set up as we would only empty for the total cost and not part loads)
Your septic tank is a recent addition, You should have the drawings or may even be on your deeds but in most cases the size has not been retained so when an empty is carried, we can normally give a best estimate to its actual size.
