We were recently invited to donate our time as well as our man & van service to help clear and load lots of waste from the side garden of the Brightlingsea library, to make way for a community wildlife garden.
Our uniformed team loaded up our waste collection truck with green waste and rolls of old carpet which had been laid to stop the grass from growing in the area.
Susie Jenkins, Project Lead has dedicated herself to improving the local area's environment and ecology. She asked us to help support the project with our waste management services. The team Brightlingsea Nature Network have been painting, building planters and potting flowers. They have been hosting days for all locals to come down to the library and get involved to help support and boost the numbers of wildlife in the local area, as they have been falling. The end goal is to create a spacious garden area for the library that all can share and enjoy.
We are proud to be part of such an important project for the local Brightlingsea community and we can't wait to go back and visit in a few months and see the space!
