Fitter\Welder | Essex

  • Covering Three Sites
  • Monday-Friday 
  • OTE of £48,000.00 p.a.

We are looking to recruit a flexible and versatile Fitter/Welder. Working as part of the Operations Team, covering our site in Chelmsford and Clacton, responsible for an array of functions including; planned preventative maintenance, servicing, breakdowns and repairs of mobile and fixed plant, lorries and ancillary equipment and PMI’s. Working in a fast-paced environment to improve and maintain operational availability and reliability of equipment.

Additionally, it would be an advantage if you have tyre-fitting experience but this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Skills & Experience:

- Excellent working knowledge of mechanical machinery with the ability to diagnose and rectify faults.

- Proven experience of repairing plant & machinery and HGV vehicles & trailers.

- Experience of MIG or TIG welding – preferably coded welding qualified.

HGV Skip Driver | Chelmsford

  • Based at CM3 3fY
  • Monday-Friday (weekend availability)
  • Up To £15,30PH

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our skip fleet, delivering, collecting and exchanging skips to our commercial and domestic customers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Loading & unloading of skip bins to and from various sites safely

- Ensuring the condition and safety of the load being transported, that the skip is not overloaded and correctly sheeted

- Completing all paperwork is fully completed including times, signatures, weights and comments

- Ensuring that vision aids and safety features are always used to protect vulnerable road users

- Responsible for completing quality, detailed daily checks and reporting any defects

Skills & Experience:

- Full UK Class 2 License (Less than 3 points)

- Valid Driver CPC and Digi Card

- 12 months commercial driving experience

- Physically fit and able as this role does require a degree of physical activity.
